Our focus
IntelliCreate’s research includes intelligent energy management, resilient connected systems and resource-related software concepts. We seek to investigate how better information and control could support more efficient use of resources.
Measure before making a claim
A proposed environmental benefit needs a defined baseline, system boundary and appropriate evidence. A simulation result or a project ambition alone does not establish an emissions reduction or lifecycle benefit.
Design considerations
Relevant considerations include processing and communication demands, hardware constraints, maintenance, reuse and the quality of data supporting decisions. Trade-offs should be made explicit during project scoping.
Working with partners
Environmental objectives and evaluation methods should be agreed for each engagement. We welcome discussion of measurable goals and practical constraints.
