NRG Sense

NRG Sense: a closer look at battery health

The research focus

NRG Sense explores quantum-enhanced sensing for resilient fleet operations. The concept investigates how sensing closer to the physical behaviour of a battery cell could inform health monitoring.

Signals worth investigating

The project material considers early indicators associated with micro-shorts, lithium plating and resistance growth. It proposes a route from sensing to more informed monitoring and maintenance decisions.

A testable approach

Sensor performance, interpretation and predictive value require comparison with established measurements under representative conditions. Safety and operational decisions need appropriate validation and oversight.

Reading the project material

The presentation below sets out the technical vision. It should be read as research and development material rather than a guarantee of detection accuracy or a commercially validated safety system. Contact us for the current project status.

BATTERY SUPPLY PROGRAMME

IntelliCreate battery hardware

We are preparing imported lithium battery cells and packs for sale under the IntelliCreate brand. Each enquiry starts with the application, followed by product selection, an agreed specification and support requirements.

Examples of cylindrical lithium battery cells and assembled packs in several formats.

Example cell and pack formats from supplied product material. Final selection, specification and branding will be confirmed before supply.

Cylindrical battery samples beside a conventional handheld voltage and resistance meter.

Supplied sample photo showing a conventional voltage and resistance check. It is not a demonstration or validation of NRG Sense sensing technology.

Start with the application

Cells and assembled packs. Cylindrical lithium cells and pack formats can be considered against the intended load, physical space and operating environment.

A defined configuration. Capacity, voltage, connectors, protection and charging requirements need to be agreed for the selected product. Custom options are scoped before an order is placed.

A documented specification. The next step is to match the application with product-specific technical information, sample evaluation needs, availability and support terms.

The photographs show example hardware and sample material. They do not establish that imported products already include NRG Sense technology or have demonstrated the sensing performance described in our research.
